Hi, I’m Chelsea.

A lot of people look at me and think, “She’s a lucky bitch.” I’ve never been overweight.

But most people don’t see the truth: I’m just a really ​hard working bitch​. And I hit my own ups and downs to get here.

Specifically: I know how crappy dieting is. I know how much dieting sucks. Because I did a ​lot ​of dieting when I entered my first fitness competition at 30 years old.

Newly divorced from a man whose unique addiction had depleted my self-esteem, self-worth, and self-confidence, ​and ​had left me with an anxiety order, I decided to try something new. I’d been working as a trainer for about ten years and entering a fitness competition seemed like a good way to get my mojo back.

But I couldn’t manage to optimize my body to get that last level of tightness. So I hired a Nutritional Coach. He taught me the powerful but shockingly simple changes my body needed me to make to lose the weight. And then…


But before I learned those secrets, dieting was HARD WORK. Really hard.
Weighing food, resisting my favorite treats (chocolate), and restricting my calorie intake…

torture​. I HATED it.

So I became a Holistic Coach in 2012 to uncover a way to integrate the science of nutrition into having a social life. (I couldn’t bear to bring my own Tupperware filled with “approved” foods out to happy hour when I met friends for dinner anymore.)

Then, in 2014 I became a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN) and learned about the underlying factors most of us don’t even realize are jeopardizing our best efforts to get in shape and feel great.

I’m also a Master Trainer and Educator for Cybex, Life Fitness, and ICG. And here’s what I’ve learned from it all:

Chelsea Kmiec is a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN), Holistic Health Coach, and recognized fitness and wellness expert with a degree in Psychology. Through philosophy on the integration of fitness, nutrition, and behavioral life changes, Chelsea empowers her clients to define and reach their personal goals; both physical and psychological.

  • I’m also a professionally trained DJ who loves red wine.
  • I have the most awesome pair of rescue dogs who collage-Aboutcrack me up – seriously, they even do push-ups, run on the treadmill and support each other in the gym!!
  • I could never live without access to an ocean and year-round sunshine (I grew up in FL and live in CA now).
  • I’m LOUD, (just like my Mom). I love being on stage (a true LEO at heart). I also like to clown around!
  • If we work together, get ready to experience a TON of energy and laugh a lot. I work hard, play hard, and now I also rest hard!

My passion for creatively applying scientific solutions to fitness struggles is in my DNA (my Dad is a rocket scientist and my Mom is a 60-something-year-old flower child and professional artist).
